Page scandal one more reason to distrust Republicans

Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL), the Pensacola Page Buggerer,
has done us all a great favor by getting caught with
his pants down and his hand in the cookie jar. You get
one Republican to show his true colors and you bring
down a bunch more who helped cover up his perverted
tendencies "to avoid a scandal" which leads to a much
bigger scandal. It's classic stuff.

I imagine the entire Republican leadership gets together
on a regular basis to perform some kind of stylized,
Kubrick-esque orgy on a regular basis. The only real
crime to these people is getting caught. It threatens
to expose their hypocrisy.

The party of family values indeed.
