Trek rules and I'll fight anyone who says different

People talk about Star Trek geeks as though
anyone who has seen every episode of the
original show and cherishes the memory
does so out of some inner weakness. I
call bullshit on that my friends. It is
no more lame to love Star Trek than it
is to love Shakespeare. Both were meant
as popular entertainment and each contains
important moral lessons. The stories kick
ass and the acting in each tends to be a
little stiff and formal.

There is a great documentary called Trekkies
that takes an inside look at the phenomenon
that is Trek, why people love it and how it
enriches their lives.
